Head Girls’ Basketball Coach: Craig Hansen
Empire High School is excited to introduce its new Head Girls Basketball Coach, Craig Hansen. With a distinguished career spanning 24 years as an educator and over 30 years of coaching experience in Tucson—primarily focused on high school basketball for the past decade—Craig Hansen brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the role.
As a proud former Empire Raven parent, he has actively supported his children, including a 2017 state champion in softball and a varsity football player. From 2018 to 2020, he also served as the announcer for Empire's Varsity Softball, Football, and Basketball teams.
Craig is dedicated to fostering character development and prioritizing student growth before athletic performance. He adheres to a student-centered approach with his coaching style. Beyond his professional commitments, he is a devoted husband to Felicia and a proud father to their blended family of seven.
